The REPTiS project is committed to education, and we invite you to our first free training webinar: “Mining and beneficiation of ilmenite-bearing heavy mineral sands.”

Discover how we’re building a more efficient and sustainable supply chain—from Ukrainian ilmenite (a key source of iron and titanium) right up to high-quality titanium alloy powders with the best environmental footprint and competitive cost.

Before the main topics, a short presentation by Bruno Vicenzi, Technical Manager in the European Powder Metallurgy Association, and leader of the Dissemination and Communication for the project, will briefly give you an introduction to REPTiS.

There will be then two main lectures, connected to the mining and processing activities. Our speakers are:

• Artem Yarovinsky, Chief Business Development Officer of Velta in Ukraine, who will bring his experience in mining of ilmenite, giving the example of the Birzulivske deposit that is the one we are dealing with, and
• Michael Lechner, University Assistant at the Montanuniversität Leoben, who will address the topic of the opportunities lying in the beneficiacion process of the ilmenite-bearing heavy sands.
