The Raw Materials Week, an event organised by the EC DG Grow in Brussels every year, took place in December 2024 (9th to 13th) at the La Plaza Hotel. It was a great occasion for some of the REPTiS partners to network with interested stakeholders and spread the word about the project.

In particular, on 10th December, REPTiS was invited to present in a Side Event, hosted in the nearby Marivaux Hotel, that was organised by the START project, and under the topic « Supporting the Critical Raw Materials Act: Research Projects in the European Union« . It was a clustering event, so that 8 different projects were called to testify their approach towards the achievement of the goals stated in the Critical Raw Materials Act. Our consortium member Artem Yarovinsky, of Velta Mining, represented REPTiS with a speech titled « REPTiS: sustainable Ti alloy powder supply chain from Ukraine to meet the EU demand for CRMs« . Later, Artem also took part in the final round table discussion, that was interesting and extended well beyond its intended time.
